We are pleased to announce that the report on "Mapping the Invisible: Trade, Logistics and Flows of Game Meat in Europe" has been published on Zenodo.
This report summarizes the workshop discussions on the dynamics of the game meat supply chain, including trade networks, logistical systems, and commodity flows across Europe. It provides insights into local traditions, market potential, informal practices, data gaps, and fragmented governance.
The report is currently under embargo as the Working Group continues to prepare related peer-reviewed publications. The full text will be made publicly available once the associated scientific papers are published or by the end of the SafeGameMeat project.

We are pleased to announce that the report on "Hunting and Processing: Report on the questionnaire about the status quo of the hunting sector in Europe, national legislation about GMC, form of data collection (analogue vs. digital) of hunted game and hunter training schemes" has been published on Zenodo.
The report compiles information on hunting systems and hunted species across 36 countries, including Europe, Australia, Kosovo, and Nigeria. It provides an overview of hunting traditions, regulatory frameworks, and their importance in wildlife management and rural livelihoods.

Deliverable 3.2 now available on Zenodo
We are pleased to share that the report from the recent expert workshop "Health risks and bioavailability of metal residues from hunting ammunition in game meat" has been officially published and is now available for open access on Zenodo .
The workshop brought together researchers, policymakers, and stakeholders to discuss current knowledge, data gaps, and emerging risks related to metal contamination in game meat. The report summarises key presentations, discussions, and recommendations for future research and risk assessment.
This publication is part of our ongoing efforts to promote evidence-based understanding of game meat safety and support harmonised approaches to managing potential health risks.
